Pharma Sales Rep - South Dublin

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for supporting existing business in the South Dublin area, and to facilitate company expansion .

The principal duties and responsibilities for this position would include:

  •   Achievement of revenue and profit targets as per business plan 
  •    Conducting personal sales calls and management of a customer base (mostly Hospital Consultants, Anesthetics, Oncologists, Critical Care, Accidents and Emergency Sisters and Consultants, Chief Pharmacists and Key rocurement Division Pharmacists) 
  •    Creating and raising awareness as a leader in the sale of Pharma products 
  •    Providing accurate reporting of relevant internal and external market information that may impact on the business (e.g. competitor activity) 
  •    Completion of administration as required (e.g. weekly/monthly reports, management of area inventory, expenses etc) 
  •    Attending nationals conferences/exhibitions/training etc. as required. This may require work outside Ireland and normal hour

 
Education & Qualification, Experience and Personal Characteristics Profile Requires: 

 

  •   Minimum of 2-3 years Sales experience in pharmaceutical products is essential 
  •    Nurses/Medical Staff with experience working to an advanced level in Hospital environment 
  •   Good market awareness to understand where the opportunities for business development lie  
  •   Strong sales capability to take advantage of the opportunities  
  •   Able to close out opportunities to turn them into sales, and turn the sales into long term business  
  •   Ability to establish and maintain high quality partnership relationships with clients  
  •   Full clean driver’s license

  

The salary on offer will be circa 40k basic + 20k bonus (benefits , car. phone, lunch allowance laptop, health insurance..etc)

Hospital Equipment Sales - Dublin Area

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 The main purpose of this job is to maintain current business in territory and create new sales against budget

 The principal duties and responsibilities for this position would include:

  •  Selling the clinical benefits of the product range through sales presentations and product evaluations
  • Achievement of revenue and targets as per budget plan
  • Creating and raising awareness as a leader in the sale of Medical Equipment products
  • KOL Sales Developments to Consultant Anesthetists / Intensivists and other Senior medical staff
  • Providing quotations and assisting in preparation of tenders for submission to Purchasing Managers and other centralized Purchasing staff
  • Providing accurate reporting of relevant internal and external market information that may impact on the business
  • Completion of administration as required (e.g. weekly/monthly reports, management of area inventory, expenses etc)
  • Team work approach when required
  • Attending nationals conferences/exhibitions/training etc. as required

 

Education, Qualification & Experience and Personal Characteristics Profile Requires:

 

Nursing / Biomedical qualification with minimum 2-3 years experience of working in Intensive Care units or Theatre environment

or

      A minimum of 2-3 years of Sales experience in Acute Hospital environment would be essential (selling Capital Equipment would be an advantage)    

  

  •  Full clean driver license
  • Good market awareness to understand where the opportunities for business development lie
  • Ability to close out opportunities into budget achievements and development into long term business
  • Ability to establish and maintain high quality partnership relationships with our Customers
  • Availability to work beyond normal hours/weekends when required
  • Willingness for national and international traveling when necessary
